Experience Innovation the Professional Way

We can guarantee you with top class floor sanding which really enhances the natural beauty of your floors. We advise you on how to get the best results.

When sanding a floor, 90% of the area can be reached a belt or drum sanding machine.  Areas such as the edges, corners and hard to reach areas are sanded with an edge sanding machine.  A finishing machine known as a multi disc sander or buffer is then used for the final standing steps.

It is essential, when sanding a floor, to prepare the floors carefully to ensure the wood is not damaged. Any protruding nails need to be punched down. In addition, some types of adhesive may need to be removed. Once the floor is prepared, the sanding can begin. The first cut is done with course-grit paper to remove old coatings and to make the floor flat.

As you may know, sanding is possible with many different types of timber floor. However, there are only so many times a floor can be sanded with the wear layer. We always like to visit the property to ensure that the floors are suitable for sanding and we will happily advise you on fillers, varnishes and finishes.

Highly recommended.

Mark and his team have provided us with excellent service. The new oak floors in 2 rooms look fantastic and have been professionally laid. The job required consequential electrical works and painting and all was co-ordinated for us. There was also in another room some sanding and carpeting, which was also co-ordinated. All the workmen were polite and professional and turned up at 8:00 am prompt until 4:00pm each day.
