Woodpecker. Inspiration. QUALITY .
At the Edinburgh Flooring Company, we supply the Woodpecker range of engineered flooring. We believe the quality and finish of Woodpecker to be impeccable and the extensive range of flooring offers something for all tastes.
As with all our products, The Edinburgh Flooring Company is proud to state the environmental credentials of Woodpecker products. All Woodpecker wood has either Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or Programme for the Endorsement of Forests (PEFC) certificates. This is firm reassurance that
Woodpecker products are sustainably and ethically sourced. Our range of Woodpecker engineered floors gives the appearance of a natural finish, but they have been constructed to give strength and stability. Our engineered floors are made from several layers of wood pressed together. The boards consist of three layers: the top layer of real wood to provide strength, a middle layer made of softwood or plywood for stability and a veneer at the base for
balance. The range offers a tantalising variety of colours, textures, thicknesses and finishes which gives you a superb opportunity to find what is just right for you.
- Looking after the environment is important to us, so we only use wood with FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) or PEFC (Program for the Endorsement of Forests) certification. By choosing our timber responsibly, Woodpecker flooring isn’t just beautiful – we can guarantee that it’s ethically sourced.
- Selecting, stacking, drying, kilning, cutting and finishing – at every stage of the Woodpecker process we aim to produce the toughest flooring, which we back up with a 25-year warranty. The result is flooring that will bring a warm and radiant atmosphere your home now, and for many years to come.
- Wood flooring can completely transform the look of your room. At Woodpecker we are constantly striving to bring you inspired style tips, expert ideas and trend guides to help you get the look that you love.
Experience Innovation the Professional Way.
A FAMILY TRADITION
Woodpecker is a family-run business with a heritage in the timber industry that goes back three generations. Our company was founded by Bruce Ker in 1975. He was a skilled craftsman who loved teaching people how to work with wood. His son Nelson carried on the tradition, focusing the business on woodworking machinery.
